Goodwin Family Farm is a woman owned and operated farm & business in Dinwiddie, VA. It all started in 2015 with a small flock of chickens and has grown to include goats and sheep. I began making candles for personal use in January of 2017. I researched the safest materials to use and I decided to make small batches of hand-poured, soy wax, wood wick candles. The demand for selling them began quickly when I would give them as gifts, which led to the creation of my candle company.

The soy wax is sourced from American farms, the fragrances are essential oil blends and the wood wicks are not treated with toxic burning agents. I do not use dyes in my candles.

I love making my candles, creating new scents (particularly Fall!), and I love burning them in my home. Thank you for letting me be a part of making your home more warm, inviting, and fragrant!

Sometimes the wood wick may dry out and be difficult to light. Remove some of the char from the top of the wick and use a gun lighter to melt some wax around the base of wick. The wick will be able to draw up the melted wax with the flame and remain lit. I have had the best lighting results with using a gun lighter.
